Middle School camp:
The Potomac School Football camp is a non-contact,
skills-based camp. The purpose of the camp is to
develop football and athletic skills with each camper.
The focus of the camp will be the fundamentals of football and basic athletic skills. Offensive skills include:
snapping, running pass patterns and catching passes,
ball handling, and proper stances and footwork. Defensive skills include: rushing the passer, proper tackling technique, reaction drills, and covering receivers. Each day begins with agility work, followed by skill sessions. Each day finishes with a scrimmage. Campers will also be instructed on the rules and strategy of football, including team concepts.
